The Iora is a bassinet designed for infants designed to help parents feel more connected to their baby as they sleep. It can be adjusted both up and down and moved to three different slide positions to fit under the parent's bed or in the corner, so the baby is always in reach. The mesh siding lets air flow through and allows you to see your baby easily. And you can stow more pajamas and other supplies in the large storage basket under.
Unlike some other smaller bedside cribs Iora is a standout among other bedside cribs. Iora folds flat and comes with a bag for travel which allows it to be taken wherever. It was easy to move from room to space, and our mum testers felt it was the perfect size for a bedside crib. The large storage basket is great to store extra bedding or nappies.
This is a great choice for parents looking to co-sleep, but do not wish to share their beds, or whose partners might be suffering from mobility issues, such as arthritis or back issues. Our mums who tested it loved that they could easily access their baby in the Iora and that it included an optional reflux incline that helped reduce gas.
Our moms also love the fact that it meets NICE guidelines that state to put the baby in a crib or Moses basket on its own (with no blankets, toys pillows, etc.). They also say that the mattress is comfortable and firm for the baby and easy to find sheets for. It's not as light as the other smaller cribs on our list, so if you prefer something lighter and easier for you to move, you can choose another option.
